Is there any pain associated with a sleep
study?
No. It is a painless test.

Will I be able to use the restroom at night?
Yes. The technicians will assist you with the
monitoring equipment to enable you to use the
restroom as needed during the night.

Will my insurance cover my study?
Sleep studies are covered by most insurance plans.
We will check your insurance coverage when
scheduling your study.

How long is the wait for scheduling a study at
the Sleep Center of Northeast Louisiana?
Once we have received an order from your
physician, usual wait time is one week or less.

How long does it take before I receive results of
the test?
Your physician will receive your results usually within
one week or less.

What if I cannot tolerate CPAP?
Other options are available; use of various masks and
further testing to determine if Bi-level therapy is
appropriate.
